KJV 1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which thou sawest in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which thou sawest are the seven churches.

天使是靈：
詩篇(Psalm) 104:4 他造他的天使為靈，他的臣僕為火焰，
104:4 Who maketh his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
天使是聽從神命令、成全他旨意、有大能的(和使者Messenger 不同）：
詩篇(Psalm) 103:20 聽從他命令、成全他旨意、有大能的天使，都要稱頌耶和華！
103:20 Bless the LORD, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.
但以理書(Daniel) 6:22 我的神差遣他的天使，封住獅子的口，叫獅子不傷我；因我在神面前無辜，我在王面前也沒有行過虧損的事。」
6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.
天使能從人子身上上升下降：
約翰福音(John) 1:51 又說：「我實實在在地告訴你們，你們將要看見天開了，神的天使上去下來在人子身上。」
1:51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.
天使不娶不嫁；人復活後像天使一樣不娶不嫁（沒有說變成天使）：
馬太福音(Matthew) 22:30 在復活中，他們也不娶也不嫁，乃像天上神的天使一樣。
22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.
天使是服役的靈：
希伯來書(Hebrews) 1:14 天使豈不都是服役的靈、奉差遣為那將要承受救恩的人效力嗎？
1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
詩篇(Psalm) 91:11 因他要為你吩咐他的天使，在你行的一切道路上保護你。
91:11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
91:12 他們要用手托着你，免得你的腳碰在石頭上。
91:12 They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
連人看為小的都有他們的天使：
馬太福音(Matthew) 18:10 「你們要小心，不可輕看這小子裏的一個；我告訴你們，他們的天使在天上，常見我天父的面。
18:10 Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.
末後收割的是天使：
馬太福音(Matthew) 13:39 撒稗子的仇敵就是魔鬼；收割的時候就是世界的末了；收割的就是天使。
13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.
馬太福音(Matthew) 13:49 世界的末了也要這樣。天使要出來，從義人中把惡人分別出來，
13:49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just,
13:50 丟在火爐裏；在那裏必要哀哭切齒了。」
13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
天使可以以客旅的樣式出現：
希伯來書(Hebrews) 13:2 不可忘記用愛心接待客旅；因為曾有接待客旅的，不知不覺就接待了天使。
13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
人比天使微小，卻因耶穌基督而得尊貴。
詩篇(Psalm) 8:5 你叫他比天使（或譯：神）微小一點，並賜他榮耀尊貴為冠冕。
8:5 For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour.
彼得前書(1 Peter) 1:7 叫你們的信心既被試驗，就比那被火試驗仍然能壞的金子更顯寶貴，可以在耶穌基督顯現的時候得着稱讚、榮耀、尊貴。
1:7 That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
天使沒有兒子的名分（所以因耶穌基督的靈得稱兒子的都不是天使）：
希伯來書(Hebrews) 1:5 所有的天使，神從來對哪一個說：你是我的兒子，我今日生你？又指着哪一個說：我要作他的父，他要作我的子？
1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
希伯來書(Hebrews) 1:6 再者，神使長子到世上來的時候，就說：神的眾天使都要拜他。
1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him.
加拉太書(Galatians) 4:6 你們既為兒子，神就差他兒子的靈進入你們（原文是我們）的心，呼叫：「阿爸！父！」
4:6 And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father.
將來的世界，神原沒有交給天使管轄：
希伯來書 2:5 我們所說將來的世界，神沒有交給天使管轄。
Hebrews 2:5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.
2:6 但有人在經上某處證明說：人算甚麼，你竟顧念他？世人算甚麼，你竟眷顧他？
2:7 你叫他比天使微小一點（或譯：你叫他暫時比天使小），賜他榮耀尊貴為冠冕，並將你手所造的都派他管理，
天使的nature與亞伯拉罕的種子不同：
希伯來書(Hebrews) 2:16 實在他沒有承當（穿上？）天使的本性，乃是承當了亞伯拉罕的種子。
2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.
天使有幾分愚昧（沒有能思考的靈；與有智慧聰明的七靈不同；像機器人？）
約伯記(Job) 4:18 他不信靠他的臣僕，並給他的天使加上愚昧；
4:18 Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and his angels he charged with folly:
魔鬼也有他的天使：
啟示錄(Revelation) 12:9 大龍就是那古蛇，名叫魔鬼，又叫撒但，是迷惑普天下的。牠被摔在地上，牠的使者也一同被摔下去。
12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
猶大書(Jude) 1:6 又有不守本位、離開自己住處的天使，主用鎖鍊把他們永遠拘留在黑暗裏，等候大日的審判。
1:6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
哥林多後書(2 Corinthians) 11:14 這也不足為怪，因為連撒但自己也變作光明的天使。
11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
不可敬拜天使：
歌羅西書(Colossians) 2:18 不可讓人因着故意謙虛和敬拜天使，就奪去你們的獎賞。這等人拘泥在所見過的（有古卷：這等人窺察所沒有見過的），隨着自己的慾心，無故地自高自大，
2:18 Let no man beguile you of your reward in a voluntary humility and worshipping of angels, intruding into those things which he hath not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind,
啟示錄 22:8 這些事是我－約翰所聽見、所看見的；我既聽見、看見了，就在指示我的天使腳前俯伏要拜他。
22:9 他對我說：「千萬不可！我與你和你的弟兄眾先知，並那些守這書上言語的人，同是作僕人的。你要敬拜神。」
日期近了，主先寫信給他的天使，每個教會都有一個天使：
啟示錄(Revelation) 2:1 「你要寫信給以弗所教會的那天使，說：『那右手拿着七星、在七個金燈臺中間行走的，說：
2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
the angel 那天使，單數
2:7 聖靈向眾教會所說的話，那有耳的他，讓他聽見！得勝的，我必將神樂園中生命樹的果子賜給他吃。』」
2:7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
聖靈向眾教會所說的話：七靈向七教會說話；那有耳的他，讓他聽見！
以賽亞書 50:4 主耶和華賜我受教者的舌頭，使我知道怎樣用言語扶助疲乏的人。主每早晨提醒，提醒我的耳朵，使我能聽，像受教者一樣。
50:5 主耶和華開通我的耳朵；我並沒有違背，也沒有退後。
使者 messenger
使者是人，不是靈。
創世記(Genesis) 32:3 雅各打發了使者先往西珥地去，就是以東地，見他哥哥以掃，
32:3 And Jacob sent messengers before him to Esau his brother unto the land of Seir, the country of Edom.
瑪拉基書(Malachi) 2:7 祭司的嘴裏當存知識，人也當由他口中尋求律法，因為他是萬軍之耶和華的使者。
2:7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
哈該書(Haggai) 1:13 耶和華的使者哈該奉耶和華差遣對百姓說：「耶和華說：我與你們同在。」
1:13 Then spake Haggai the LORD's messenger in the LORD's message unto the people, saying, I am with you, saith the LORD.
瑪拉基書(Malachi) 3:1 萬軍之耶和華說：「我要差遣我的使者在我前面預備道路。你們所尋求的主必忽然進入他的殿；立約的使者，就是你們所仰慕的，快要來到。」
3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the LORD, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the LORD of hosts.
馬太福音(Matthew) 11:10 經上記着說：『我要差遣我的使者在你前面預備道路』，所說的就是這個人。
11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee.
哥林多後書(2 Corinthians) 8:23 論到提多，他是我的同伴，一同為你們勞碌的。論到那兩位兄弟，他們是眾教會的使者，是基督的榮耀。
8:23 Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellowhelper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.
腓立比書(Philippians) 2:25 然而，我想必須打發以巴弗提到你們那裏去。他是我的兄弟，與我一同做工，一同當兵，卻是你們的使者，也是供給我需用的。
2:25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellowsoldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.
雅各書(James) 2:25 妓女喇合接待使者，又放他們從別的路上出去，不也是一樣因行為稱義嗎？
2:25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way?
