申命記(Deuteronomy) 25:17 「你要記念你們出埃及的時候，亞瑪力人在路上怎樣待你。
25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
25:18 他們在路上遇見你，趁你疲乏困倦擊殺你儘後邊軟弱的人，並不敬畏神。
25:18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
25:19 所以耶和華－你神使你不被四圍一切的仇敵擾亂，在耶和華－你神賜你為業的地上得享平安。那時，你要將亞瑪力的名號從天下塗抹了，不可忘記。」
25:19 Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it.

約書亞記 3:4 只是你們和約櫃相離要量二千肘，不可與約櫃相近，使你們知道所當走的路，因為這條路你們向來沒有走過。」
亞瑪力人在道上怎樣待你。
25:17 Remember what Amalek did unto thee by the way, when ye were come forth out of Egypt;
25:18 他在道上遇見你，擊打你最後的，就是所有你後面軟弱的，趁你昏暈無力時；他不敬畏神。
25:18 How he met thee by the way, and smote the hindmost of thee, even all that were feeble behind thee, when thou wast faint and weary; and he feared not God.
彼得前書 5:8 務要謹守，警醒。因為你們的仇敵魔鬼，如同吼叫的獅子，遍地遊行，尋找可吞吃的人。
帖撒羅尼迦前書 5:14 我們又勸弟兄們，要警戒不守規矩的人，勉勵灰心的人，扶助軟弱的人，也要向眾人忍耐。
25:19 所以總有一天，當耶和華－你神使你離開你四圍一切的仇敵、在耶和華－你神賜你為業的地上得享安息時，你當將亞瑪力的記念從天下塗抹了；你不可忘記。

創世記 36:12 亭納是以掃兒子以利法的妾；她給以利法生了亞瑪力。這是以掃的妻子亞大的子孫。
出埃及記 17:8 那時，亞瑪力人來在利非訂，和以色列人爭戰。
17:11 摩西何時舉手，以色列人就得勝，何時垂手，亞瑪力人就得勝。
出埃及記 17:14 耶和華對摩西說：「我要將亞瑪力的名號從天下全然塗抹了；你要將這話寫在書上作紀念，又念給約書亞聽。」
17:15 摩西築了一座壇，起名叫「耶和華尼西」（就是耶和華是我旌旗的意思），
17:16 又說：「耶和華已經起了誓，必世世代代和亞瑪力人爭戰。」
詩篇 16:4 以別神代替耶和華的（或譯：送禮物給別神的），他們的愁苦必加增；他們所澆奠的血我不獻上；我嘴唇也不提別神的名號。
