Numbers‬ ‭21:13‬

“From there they set out and camped on the other side of the Arnon, which is in the wilderness that extends from the border of the Amorites, for the Arnon is the border of Moab, between Moab and the Amorites.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭21:13‬

From there: from the spiritual Valley of Zered.

They set out and camped

Set out H5265: to pull up especially the tent (pins); start on a journey.

Camped in H2583: to incline; to pitch a tent; to encamp; rest in tent.

“And they rose up early the next day and offered burnt offerings and brought peace offerings. And the people sat down to eat and drink and rose up to play.”

‭‭Exodus‬ ‭32:6‬

The Arnon H769: a brawling stream; a river east of the Jordan. From H7442: to creak; to shout for joy; singing aloud for triumph.

“They have healed the wound of my people lightly, saying, ‘Peace, peace,’ when there is no peace.”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭6:14‬

On the other side of H5676: a region across; on the opposite side.

“And they said, ‘If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Do not take us across the Jordan.’”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭32:5‬

Which is in the wilderness

“For long ago I broke your yoke and burst your bonds; but you said, ‘I will not serve.’ Yes, on every high hill and under every green tree you bowed down like a whore. Yet I planted you a choice vine, wholly of pure seed. How then have you turned degenerate and become a wild vine? Though you wash yourself with lye and use much soap, the stain of your guilt is still before me, declares the Lord God. How can you say, ‘I am not unclean, I have not gone after the Baals’? Look at your way in the valley; know what you have done— a restless young camel running here and there, a wild donkey used to the wilderness, in her heat sniffing the wind! Who can restrain her lust? None who seek her need weary themselves; in her month they will find her. Keep your feet from going unshod and your throat from thirst. But you said, ‘It is hopeless, for I have loved foreigners, and after them I will go.’”

‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭2:20-25‬

The Amorites H567: a patronymic from H559 in the sense of publicity that is prominence; a mountaineer. H559: to say; to appoint; challenge; command; declare.

Extends H3318: to go; appear; bear out; spread.

“And there we saw the Nephilim (the sons of Anak, who come from the Nephilim), and we seemed to ourselves like grasshoppers, and so we seemed to them.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭13:33

The border H1366: a cord (as twisted); a boundary; the territory inclosed. From H1379: to twist as a rope; to bound.

For the Arnon is the border of Moab, but Kadesh is the border for God; at Arnon there is loud creak for triumph; at Kadesh there is crying out to the LORD from broken and contrite hearts.

“And when we cried to the LORD, he heard our voice and sent an angel and brought us out of Egypt. And here we are in Kadesh, a city on the edge of your territory.”

‭‭Numbers‬ ‭20:16

Kadesh H6946: sanctuary (from heaven); a place in the desert (away from the world).

“The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.”

‭‭Psalm‬ ‭51:17‬

Moab H4124: from her mother’s father.

The Amorites H567: a patronymic from H559 in the sense of publicity that is prominence; a mountaineer. H559: to say; to appoint; challenge; command; declare.

Between Moab and the Amorites.

“The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of man and they bore children to them. These were the mighty men who were of old, the men of renown.”

‭‭Genesis‬ ‭6:4

“This calls for wisdom: let the one who has understanding calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man, and his number is 666.”

‭‭Revelation‬ ‭13:18‬
